Fall Festivals – nothing else compares

I was a vendor at a fall festival today, and I must take a moment and profess my love. There’s really nothing like a good fall festival. People go, expecting to interact with one another and have a good time, see some unique items, and try food that definitely counts as at least two “cheat days.”

Today’s weather was the stuff of dreams. Sunny but cool with a breeze to make wearing plaid perfect.

I loved seeing all the fun fall and Halloween t-shirts. Monroe, GA has some of the best! I’ve laughed a lot and seen some fairly witty ones.

Side note: I also saw some of the cutest kids, dogs, and even a surprise pocket kitten!

There’s something relaxed and unhurried about this time of year – that moment right before the holiday season really kicks into gear. It’s a good reminder of all that has passed so far and anticipate all that remains.

So here’s to fall festivals everywhere. Thank you for helping us slow down a bit and reflect. Cheers!

I have a goal to get as close to running out of jellies as I possibly can.
